Job Description

- Develop and implement short-term and long-term plans of the team to ensure the completion of all division’s goals and company’s targets.
- Independently lead a team of up to three members at various levels and manage different projects of planning and urban design.
- Coordinate the quality and progress of the team plan in order to give timely solutions and mitigate all negative consequences. Monitor and evaluate all tasks of the team. Ensure all projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest standards of quality.
- Preparing reports/proposals/presentations and participating in bidding process.
- Participate in design meetings.
- Hold team and individuals accountable to deliver upon commitments.
- Follow personal and team goals, overcome challenges and obstacles.
- Manage production resources effectively.
- Take initiative to make positive changes and assist the team to produce quality projects.
- Mentor team’s members (CAD standards, building codes, use forms, meeting note, professional growth and communication skills, critical thinking, problem solving, time management, construction terminology, creative methods…)
- Act as a positive role-model to others and team in support ATA’s culture.
- Working with internal and external professionals, private and government agencies, local authorities, civic leaders, development specialists to recommend arrangements of land and physical facilities for residential, commercial, industrial and other use purposes.
- Implement technical QA/QC assessments of projects.
- Coordinate with managers of Planning & Urban Design Division and Human Resources Division in recruiting, training & developing the key person who are capable of business strategies of the company.
- Support and coordinate with other teams and divisions to ensure approval of project documentation, profit margin of the company and satisfaction of clients.
- Communicate to PM regularly for design intent purpose.
- Promote a culture of collaboration among members of teams and divisions.
- Updating and applying Information Technology in the field of design and management to optimize requirements and add value to clients.
- Other duties assigned by line manager and BOD.

Job Requirement
|
- Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Planning & Urban Design or related fields. Master’s Degree in Architecture, Planning or Urban Design or graduated from an international accredited university is strongly preferred.
- At least 08 years of relevant working experience as a master planner/urban designer.
- Being required to travel at least 20-25 percent of the working time.
- Proficiency in software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, MS Office, Adobe Premiere Elements (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, MS Project), Prezi, Lumion and Adobe Creative Suite software packages is a must.
- Knowledge of GIS is strongly preferred.
- Comprehensive understanding of latest update of relevant legal rules and regulations.
- Good experience in working on a variety of projects involving multiple disciplines.
- In-depth knowledge of the green-city and smart-city planning and designing.
- Demonstrate an ability to draw on various benchmark projects.
- Knowledge of contractual requirements and project financials.
- Engaged in projects at various stages including the construction stage will be preferred.
- Participated in award winning projects will be added advantage.
- Strong graphic and illustrative capability.
- Demonstrate a high degree of time management skills and constantly seek to streamline processes and procedures in order to increase quality and efficiency.
- Excellent communication, presentation and management skills.

- Stay at work as needed to compete tasks at hand and meet deadlines.
- Creative thinker and can work under high pressure.
- Excellent coordination skills and good abilities to work remotely with international teams and clients.
- Fluency in English communication (Speaking/Listening/ Writing/Reading).
